Fountain

As an update...it actually took a few days for my fountain to begin leaking. It's a slow leak, and the nearby plants love it. So, until I get out there and figure out a solution, the pump stays off (imagine that it would be bad for it to run without being fully submersed in water). That means that, in addition to being a patio watering station, it is also a mosquito hatchery. We're afraid to even go out there!

Mr. Coal

Well, Sean and I have been greatly enjoying labradoodle time. You should see the outrage when I come home having clearly played with another pup. I can just imagine what Josie has to say!

Just wait until I come home smelling like baby rotweiller. That's right, Mart & Brad bring him home soon. We'll see what name they go with - my vote is still on Angus.

Anyhow, here's a picture from Tuesday's playdate...

Sofa beasts and couch monsters tamed!

Francis' blog

So, I'm up this morning to hype my buddy Franc's blog.
He has memorialized me for time eternal by putting a couple old snaps of us up there this month. So, check us out and check out Afrospear too!

Blik

Curt turned me onto some wall art decals at blik. I love that they've teamed up with Threadless - in fact, the one titled 'Growth of Destruction' Curt has as a t-shirt.
Anyhow, I ordered the decal 'Moon Kite' in graphite. The wall space I'm thinking of is paint over slightly textured wall paper. So, we'll see if it sticks. If I can remember, I'll post some pics.

Morning

So, I spent my morning making a container fountain. We'll see if it leaks or splashes all it's water out over the next couple of hours.

Still wondering

Clovis keeps making wierd faces at me. He wants to know what I did with that wonderful fellow who kept sneaking him the delicious treats!
I'll have to get Jim to feed him a floor potato chip from the pickup again soon. Then, he'll forget all about Uncle and focus on chasing down green trucks. Oh wait, maybe that's not such a great idea?

Head chef

So, I've finally gotten to the point of being able to scramble up some decent eggies. Curt, on the other hand, just looks at a piece of cooking meat and knows when it's done. Here he is making some salmon for Uncle and I on Saturday. What a guy!

He's off

Uncle is gone again after a lovely few days. Clovis was ready to jump out of my arms and into his van.

Uncle likes to spread out his projects. He's very good about putting it all away when he's not upstairs though. Wish I could get so organized!

Uncle's here

We are all happy, but Clovis is completely glommed on to Uncle. He usually saves such behaviour for small children (who have a certain amount of meal remnants that can be licked of hands, faces, etc), Mum or Dad (he would happily go home with either one and never look back). Ernie is still a standoffish little snob:)
