Yum

While bumbling about Heathrow awaiting my flight home in March, I purchased several items of questionable purpose. One of my greater successes was a pack of 3 Hotel Chocolat bars for Mr. He was very appreciative!

Of course, the last thing we need is probably chocolate. On the other hand, yum! They have some rather interesting ideas - chocolate pasta, salsa, etc.

Perhaps one of these days I'll get him another. He'd like the Ocumare Valley 72% Dark with Chili & Cocoa Nibs or perhaps the Dark on Dark Slab

Of course, he'd probably be just as happy with another British favorite of his - Tyrrell Chips (which they just happen to sell at a Southern Season)

Oh yeah

Aaaaand, my Keria japonica that Jen gave me last year is looking fabooo!

Speaking of

Speaking of neat birthday gifts, Mr got me these pots & Jenny lent me her discount on the hollies.

Indoor garden

I guess that FTD is fairly consistent after all.

As a completely spoiled chickie, I got 2 baskets of flowers for my birthday. Yay!

It is interesting that our friends order came in from a shop over in Winston-Salem and Mr.'s came from Greensboro. Yet, they look almost like an intended pair. So, now we have one on each end table and it makes the living room very cheerful indeed!

Fini

Well, for exactly bupkiss experience on setting screen, I think we came out with a pretty well done job. Of course, Dad building the frame all by his lonesome was the actual work.

Anyhow, it is an awfully nice space now. We're debating painting the frame white, staining it or just leaving as is (my vote goes for the latter - they don't call me a layabout for no reason).

Oooh, and the big panel at the front comes out. This way we can still pull the cars in if there's a nasty storm where branches might impale windshields and such. That Dad, he thinks of everything!
